Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, IT, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience in program management within IT operations
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in program management in a technology environment, and with data center operations
• Experience in Supply Chain operations, with an understanding of materials scheduling, manufacturing, planning/forecasting processes, and logistics/delivery
• Ability to lead cross-functionally and to influence without authority
• Ability to balance the immediate needs of the program with the longer term goals of the greater organization
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor format and style to match the situation whether in person, emails, documents, or presentations

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Global Server Operations team is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the physical infrastructure behind Google’s Search technology, apps, and Google Cloud.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and delivering projects and programs across the APAC region, incorporating stakeholder mapping, risk management, change management, scaled data review, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain key relationships with regional managers, site managers, and program stakeholders.
• Manage deployment activities of transformational initiatives across the region.
• Work with regional site managers to address forecasting and staffing readiness for key projects and new business opportunities.
• Provide input on automation gaps or issues with the lead program manager and cross functional teams.
• Identify and communicate process issues or improvements to the lead program manager.
