The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and reliable individual with solid experience in quality control and eyes like a hawk to take the next step in their Quality career! As the Quality Associate, you will ensure that all external and internal requirements are met whilst ensuring our services meet customer requirements. You will also be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and/or participate in the investigation of complaints and corrective/preventive actions risks or failure; approving corrective actions and determine the effectiveness.

· Participate in internal, self-improvement, customer, and regulatory audits.

· Implement, maintain, and educate employees on the importance of QMS compliance.

· Monitor operations that affect quality, check processes, devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues, as well as review current standards and policies.

· Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data.

· Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.

· EHS Management.

· Safeguard products against potential hazards arising from poor distribution practices.

· Ensure training is completed and adequate records are maintained.

· Ensure the QMS is implemented, observed, and maintained.

· Ensure suppliers and are approved and all licensing provisions are observed.

Skills and Experience

· A Logistics or another relevant discipline degree, or equivalent experience.

· Experience in shipping operations with an emphasis on expedited shipping, working with couriers, drivers, etc.

· Practical knowledge of temperature/humidity monitors, security systems, and dock operations to facilitate quick error correction and accurate documentation.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Great attention to detail, with the ability toaccurately record activities and ensure business process are adhered to.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
