Job Overview

General Summary:

• This position will work on Global Supply Chain of Power management IC. Candidate is required to have both hardware and software knowledge.
• Operation team is looking for engineer who can understand complex issues in semiconductor manufacturing (hardware knowledge), then develop the statistic model (software knowledge) to analyze big data, find out gap between planning and actual, detect the failure pattern in wafer sort and final test. You will work with suppliers to maximize operation efficiency, reduce cost, and expedite time to market process for new product.
• Responsibilities include setup key performance index to monitor supplier status, as well as hardware trouble shooting, test program debug, yield analysis, lot disposition, throughput improvement. This position offers internal training and hands-on practice of supply chain management and product knowledge. Candidate will deal with very wide scope of complex issues, can grow knowledge from foundry to assembly process, from test program development to hardware design, from business forecast to weekly delivery. You will gain experience by bring-up one project from introduction phase to high volume manufacturing phase, develop specialties in the interested area.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Project experience of big data analysis, machine learning is a MUST.
• Basic understanding of Digital, Analog Circuit design.
• Basic understanding of Semiconductor fundamental knowledge.
• Good programming skills of VB, C++, Python programming.
• Good knowledge of statistics.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Proactive working attitude.
• Capable to handle new challenge.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor supply chain.
• Basic knowledge of design for test, design for manufacturing, design for experiment.
• Basic knowledge of foundry process, assembly process, and test programming.
  
  

Education Requirements

Preferred Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 10 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting)
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
