Job Description

Realization of the short/midterm product road map , Go-to-market (GTM)introduction and the required marketing communication deliverables to support the GTM , the product positioning and brand image. Long term product strategy and new business development are also included for brand development. Cooperate with cross functional team to realize the targets and to cooperate with R&D (TRS/OEM) to get the right products at the right time for the right price.Market research

Keep track market share performance and grow market penetration as per plan Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis;

Collect quantitative and qualitative data to understand customers’ needs as base for new product development and product improvement;

Retail audit analysis and work out action plan for product line development;

Planning Formulate strategic plan to lead and expand product category development;

Prepare profit plan and quarterly forecast by SKU level;

Develop effective category plan and contribute to profit plan;Product Development

Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities;

Identify product gaps/opportunities, specify product requirements for current and future products supported by market intelligence data;

Develop 5-year product road map;

Plan new products launch with valid business case, and release right product at the right time Analyze and manage current / potential supplier relationships for the product;

Liaise with TRS or OEM suppliers in all product development related issuesProduct Marketing

Monitor category sales performance and adjust plans to improve product mix

Develop product positioning and message that differentiates products in the market Lead and plan product training to internal and external

Formulate Go-to-market plans (price, distribution, promotion) to support sell through

Work with brand marketing to create marketing materials / sales tools to communicate key product messages to drive demand and support the selling processPSI management

Improve MOS via working with logistics and sales team to monitor forecast vs. inventory and to manage over-stock or under-stock situation

Create action plan on slow moving inventory and degrade products

Negotiate with suppliers to get better production schedulePrice/Cost monitoring

Work with procurement team to negotiate with suppliers and fix price to ensure product profitability

Drive procurement to source right suppliers to maintain product specification and cost competitiveness

Set retail price positioning

Monitor competitor price and align with retail sales team to adjust retail price to balance sell through and product profitabilityAfter-sales Service

Work with CS to have installation in place for any new product categories

Feedback subcontractor installation services, and monitor the installation charges are reasonable

Support spare parts order when CS has any difficulty

Involve in discussions with CS on serious customer complaints or repeated repair cases for quick resolution

Drive revenue growth on direct sales by tailoring product & marketing programsProduct quality

Work with technical/quality team, global E&T team, OEM suppliers and factories to ensure compliance with P12, TW Safety, Performance, Energy/Water Regulations

Bridge quality, sales, and CS whenever product quality issues happen G2M

Understand customer needs; collect market/competitor/consumer insights, analysis and action plan

Formulate and deploy G2M plan to promote brand image and to help sell-through for gaining market share

Launch initiatives to drive brand/product strategies

Manage all related ATL/BTL marketing activities including promotion, media, POP, product brochures, user manuals, premiums,website and all marketing materials. (Coop with Marcom)

The Successful Applicant

Over 5 years working experience in home appliances categories

Familiar with retail & e-commerce channels in Taiwan and the go-to-market strategy know-how

Leadership style of transparent, willing to share and clear goal setting

Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing
