1. Responsibilities

1.1 Technical issue resolution for engineering escalations for Level 2 EVSE.

1.2 Engagement with R&D, design engineering, supply chain, and team leadership to oversee the total solution for our customers.

1.3 Developing field repair plans and technical papers, to instruct the EMEA or US or ASIA field service teams in repair methods and procedures.

1.4 Weekly field issue analytics, as a method for providing product quality feedback to manufacturing and engineering teams.

1.5 Provide timely customer communication, keeping them aware of lead times to issue resolution.

1.6 Ability to interact with customers both on technical level and project level.

1.7 Maintain high levels of product portfolio competency, through engagement with the product line management teams.

1.8 Generate training material for level 1 and level 2 technical support team members (call centers, field technicians, etc)

1.9 Ability to understand logs and traces for troubleshooting process including reading in programming language and provide root cause analysis.

2. Qualifications

2.1 Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related electrical trade certifications.

2.2 A minimum 2 years of field experience in power distribution, power electronics, PLC / SCADA devices & programming, UPS systems, or other related industrial electrical equipment diagnostics.

2.3 Optimal candidates have experience in electric vehicle charging technologies, in either design or installation services & field diagnostics.

2.4 Proven experience in managing time and material resources

2.5 Proven experience in managing critical customer relationships and communication

2.6 Firm understanding of EVSE communication protocols (Modbus, OCPP, ethernet/Wi-Fi, and others)

2.7 Demonstrable ability to use a laptop as a diagnostic tool (networking diagnostics, pushing local FW/SW updates, using teraterm / putty to engage with hardware devices, etc)

2.8 Fundamental understanding of NEC & IEC standards
