We have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Manager to join us on a permanent basis within a Taiwan offshore windfarm project. The PMO Manager will be responsible for leading project controls delivering project programme/schedule, cost/budgets, risk and document management and the implementation of appropriate systems, processes, and procedures.We are looking for someone to join us on a permanent or contract basis.Main Accountabilities
  • As the project organisation matures development and management of the PMO / project controls team.
  • Ensure standard project control processes/ procedure requirements are met, understood, and embedded across the project team and by contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Establish and maintain a detailed consolidated project programme in Primavera P6, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain detailed risk registers, associated QRA/SRA/Scenario analysis, and contingency plans, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain detailed DEVEX and CAPEX budgets, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate system and controls for document management, allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure project changes are actively approved, aligned, and implemented.
  • Manage the analysis and reporting on project programme/schedule, cost budgets, risk management and document control and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Capture and share lessons learned
The Requirements
  • Location: Hybrid working Taiwan office.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with Mandarin language skills a distinct advantage
  • Degree educated or above, ideally supported by a post-graduate qualification in project management (PMI-PMP-APM).
  • Proven experience of project management in large infrastructure projects, with offshore wind experience a strong advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organised and excellent time management
  • Strong relationship management with proactive and co-operative way of working.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor approach and present complex information to broad audiences.
  • Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6, Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of risk and document management software an advantage.
