The Platform Architect works with leadership to provide architectural insights to support the technical delivery of Digital innovation projects within Overlake’s IT ecosystem. Provides strategy, roadmaps, and overall architecture vision to support Overlake’s digital transformation vision. Understands and addresses the selection, implementation, performance, and supporting issues regarding technology solutions. Collaborates with operations to develop and drive adoption of digital development standards and architecture patterns across the technology initiatives. Defines the standard and patterns used to support long term technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Certification on either Microsoft or AWS platforms desired
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a solution or technical architect is required. Experience must include at least one year experience in healthcare. Prior Epic experience a plus.
• Knowledge in healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI-X12) and processing healthcare data at scale.
• Ability to work across both business and technical partners and be able to explain and document end to end requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise integration between internal and external systems.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures, Artificial Intelligence, Data visualization or Robotic automation.
• Understanding of current health care digital transformation project requirements.
• Good commanding and understanding of software design patterns.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with diverse personalities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate with individuals and groups representing all levels of the organization and provide unparalleled customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems or difficulties while retaining strong and effective working relationships, staying calm and objective under the stress of deadlines and obstacles.
