Business Unit Planning Manager (BUPM)

Description

ON Semiconductor is looking for experienced Business Unit Planning Manager who will provide focus to effective strategies, set high personal and linked organizational goals and expectations, and disciplined execution to exceed those goals for Advanced Solutions Group. In addition to BUPM responsibilities, you will be responsible for managing product transfers and process definition and documentation. You will interface with assigned Business Unit(s), Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Staff, Finance, and Human Resources. Fast paced, challenging environment that provides growth opportunities. This role is an individual contributor role.

Key Goals/Objectives/Activities In This Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Align Supply with Demand Strategies set forth by Business Unit
• Meet OTD to CRD Target (customer requirements)
• Manage Inventory to Desired levels
• Maximize Capacity Utilization
• Drive Supply Chain Management processes on a global basis
• Managing product transfers
• Process Definition and Documentation
  

Requirements

• BS/BA in Supply Chain Management (or related field)
• 2 – 5 years of Supply Chain Management work experience, or MBA
• Strong Supply Chain Knowledge/Understanding
• Experience with Advanced Planning System, Master Planner, and Order Management
• Extensive understanding of the Sales and Operations Planning processes
• Position requires up to 10% travel

• Advanced data mining skills (SQL, database skills, advanced MS Excel skills like Macro, VBA, etc.) are a strong plus
