WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

  • Strategic business partner to the JTIM leadership team. Provide top-quality coaching, consultations, and solutions in all areas of P&C, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management and development, Employee Relations, Employer Branding, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and local administrative support. Work closely with leadership to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Partner with HoDs to develop strategic workforce plans to meet current and future talent needs. Minister and provide guidance on total rewards review/planning and talent review processes. Associate with HoDs to develop and implement diversity, equality, and inclusion strategies. Promote and encourage creative/innovative thoughts and ideas. Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs. Ensure compliance with labor laws.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Talent Management & Learning and Development
    • Ensure the overall organization is structured at the optimum level and facilitate development/career conversation to ensure the right talents have been placed as per employees’ career aspirations to meet growing business needs.
    • Drive recruitment process in order to bring a sufficient workforce equipped with adequate functional skills in line with positions’ requirements and production plans.
    • Accelerate the growth of a talent pipeline by developing our top talents to increase talent bench strength. Ensure the potential successors for the key positions are identified and developed for future roles.
  • Total Rewards
    • Develop a diverse reward portfolio that will attract and retain critical talent segments. This portfolio is a comprehensive package of motivating compensation, benefits, incentives, guidelines, processes, programs, and other types of rewards to drive success across the organization.
    • Effective P&C budget planning and tracking, factory ASP/OL labor cost planning and updating.
  • Employee Relationship
    • Create and implement proactive employee relations strategies to sustain a high level of employee engagement.
    • Diagnose performance concerns/opportunities and identify root causes, Offering effective and well-rounded solutions.
    • Investigate and resolve all employee relations complaints and concerns in accordance with company guidelines. Ensure a fair and consistent practice is maintained for the application of all policies and procedures, relating to P&C. Manage hire/transfer/promotion/disciplinary process/terminations in line with company policies/procedures and the local labor law.
    • Labor Management Meeting.
  • Legal Compliance
    • Guide, train, and direct the interpretation and execution of policies and processes to maintain compliance and a positive employee experience.
    • Ensure legal compliance with applicable labor laws.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree or above. A major in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
  • 8-10 years in P&C function, min 3 years in a managerial position is a must.
  • Experience in Employee Relations (Managing employee issues) is a must
  • Experience in Compensation and Benefits
  • Experience working in an international manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese is a must
  • Common PC skills (MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint) & SAP skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company (both local and international).
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, facilitate decision-making, and direct requests in the absence of Entity Head.
  • Experience in leading change management and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Possess the ability to navigate through ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, assess P&C implications, and manage details.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple P&C disciplines including total rewards practices, employee relations, talent management, diversity, equity & inclusion, performance management, talent review, and labor laws.
