Who Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Partner Responsibility Manager in our Taiwan office, to join Taiwan/Korea Partner Responsibility leadership team. We work with some of the largest footwear, apparel & materials manufactures in the world. Their leadership in sustainability is essential to ensure we meet our targets. To be successful in this role, we need someone with deep expertise deploying strategies in global supply chains, preferably in a contract manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate must be able to think strategically and translate strategies into action with clear and aligned plans. Maintain clarity and drives accountabilities throughout course of planning and execution of strategy. Communicate a vision and motivate others into action. Enjoy driving organizational change. They will also be a trusted leader who fosters teamwork and develops others.

What You Will Work On

In this role you will serve as a key member of our Partner Responsibility Team, driving performance across all sustainability impact areas for contract manufacturing partners/vendor headquartered in Taiwan and their offshore factories throughout Asia.

You will partner with Nike partner/vendor managers and factory/vendor group leadership to drive top-to-top engagement including:
  • Aligning and deploying strategies and initiatives
  • Driving Partner/vendor group-level performance management
  • Prioritizing strategic capability development
  • Driving clarity, alignment and accountability on initiatives and investments
  • Identifying risks that could affect business continuity, coordinating development and execution of risk mitigation plans

You will also partner support Partner Responsibility Director in strategy deployment process at country level engagement. This work will encompass, but not limited to:
  • Coach and guid factory location leadership to execute HQ strategies and initiatives
  • Coach and guide factory leadership to continuously elevate their sustainability performance
  • Drive factory capability development through learning communities
  • Drive clarity, alignment and accountability on initiatives progress and delivery
  • Identify risks that could affect business continuity, coordinating development and execution of risk mitigation plans

Lastly you will also build, lead and guide a team of consultants to be a high performing team

Who You Will Work With

This position is an integral part of Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) Team for Taiwan and Korea. The role is based in Taipei, Taiwan and reports to the Partner Responsibility Director in Taiwan. This position will work with Nike cross functions teams in the region and globally, Nike Manufacturing Partners/Vendors and with internal and external stakeholders to deploy and deliver Nike strategy and initiatives. In daily basis the position will work with Partner Responsibility Director, manufacturing partners/vendors team and routinely engaging with Deployment Team in Singapore and performance management team in Singapore and WHQ. WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in sustainability or business related field preferred
  • 6+ years professional experience in Manufacturing Sustainability & strategy deployment at country and factory levels
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in:
  • deploying and translating sustainability strategy into actions
  • capability building and PDCA Problem solving;
  • stakeholder and partner management skills;
  • project Management skills and strong attention to detail;
  • performance management;
  • building & translating sustainability data and analytics; and
  • ability to use data to make the business case for RSM initiaitves
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in cross functional environment
  • Able to work with or commit to develop skills on reporting tool kits: Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI
