About The Job

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’re equally at home explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall production line readiness management, risks, and communication to cross-functional teams.
  • Engage the role, responsibilities, and expectations with our factory partners, plan for factory layout, drive production yield the Design of Experiment (DOE) execution during New Product Introduction (NPI) stage.
  • Lead the Assembly and Repair story/Strategy/Standard Operating Procedure/Process Flow with cross-functional teams. Provide production efficiency and headcount optimize plan.
  • Manage program critical issues with cross-functional teams. Use technical transfer planning and Contract Manufacturer progress management (if applicable) and lead Line Qualification activity with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage a team of 4-5 members.
