Manage and align our shipments to balance supply and demand.

We made it our mission to get the next billion on bikes, and we’re building a team of logistics experts to turn that ambition into a reality. We are currently optimizing internal processes for logistics and shipment, and we’re looking for someone with the necessary drive and experience to take our team to the next level.

In this role, you’ll be the point of contact for all logistics related processes and procedures. Together with both our Demand Planner and Purchasing teams, you’ll increase our logistics stability wherever possible. As you go, you’ll take ownership of this role by utilizing more efficient and creative processes across the company.

What You’ll Do

• Arrange and oversee payments with the VanMoof Finance Team.
• Take responsibility for shipping arrangements for all service parts/bikes and prepare necessary documentation.
• Build and maintain good relationships with shipping suppliers/forwarders.
• Review and analyze shipping cost for AIR and SEA shipments.
• Review and cooperate with the global team to optimize internal shipping processes.
• Collect shipping restrictions (IMDG CODE) and provide proper suggestions for special cargo arrangements.
• Report and discuss improvements, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
  

What You’ll Bring

• You’ve worked on a logistics/purchasing team for 1-3 years.
• Experience structuring and generating reports.
• An analytical, process oriented, logical mindset.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Familiarity with international shipping terms.
• Familiarity with forwarders, shippers, or brokers in the market(s) that you could introduce to VanMoof’s supply chain.
