Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in managing and operating a network of laboratories for conformance certification or US Carrier certification.
  • 10 years of experience in leading and managing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Certification in PTCRB/GCF or similar US carrier certification.
  • Experience in coordinating team members from multiple disciplines to complete certification processes and documentation.
  • Knowledge of cellular radio frequency, protocol or 3GPP, system level, radio frequency performance, protocol and IP/IMS layers.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese Mandarin fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop goals and strategy for certification laboratories.
  • Define and implement carrier certification requirements across Development teams, Technical Account Managers, Carrier Partners.
  • Manage certification test requirements and validate testing reports for accuracy, completeness, and ensure all mandatory requirements are properly accounted for filing packages.
  • Communicate certification status and issues in a clear, succinct, and timely manner to all impacted teams.
