As a key member in financial business case preparation and presentation to PRB, the Investment Controlling Manager has responsibility for supporting the investment appraisal process for all new business, renewal or investment projects that require approval at a Regional level or above. Additionally, the role will be a subject matter expert in the eBCA (business case assessment) and will support the team for all BCAs regardless of final approval level. At the same time, to follow up on the data quality and ensure existing contracts are renew on time with margin improvement.

Whilst principally the role is focused on DHL Supply Chain Taiwan, the successful candidate will also be expected to work with colleagues across all regions as we may share the same customer across the region.

This is an exciting role that helps shape the future direction of the business and requires the incumbent to have sound business and technical knowledge, while also having the ability to work effectively with other members of the business.

Continue tracking on the performance of projects for 6-12 months to ensure alignment with the approved BCA. Propose improvement on the operation components and understand the variance vs original plan.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, curious to learn more about the broader business and encourage knowledge sharing across both the Global and Regional teams.

• Support the Supply Chain BCA process within the designated regions, with flexibility to work

across all regions.

• Write BCA summaries to ensure that the risks and rewards of the project have been

alignment where required and review detailed project documents where projects are large

and complex, supporting both direct reports and project teams through the process.

• To make recommendations on whether the proposed BCA should be Approved, Rejected or

Deferred to the regional PRBs. This will include a clear rational for the recommendation.

• Maintain the BCA database (ensure all necessary approvals for a BCA are in place, project

pipeline is up to date, access rights implemented, etc.).

• Build effective business partnerships with Regional project teams as well as the wider

Investment Controlling team.

• Ensure alignment to, and support governance of, strategic initiatives that are intrinsically

linked to Investment Controlling processes i.e. O2D and the introduction of multi-

dimensional financial thresholds.
