This is a unique collection where we are looking for participants to record their handwriting. Users will need smart devices and styluses* to participate. The project will take place using Appen Mobile and will help to improve handwriting recognition by AI software.

*(Stylus - a pen-like instrument used for handwriting on your smart device)

Benefits:

Successful participants in this introductory task (phase 1) will be invited to participate in (phase 2) where incentives will be higher.

Quick and simple task, with full instructions on how to be successful in the task.

Requirements:

Smart device and stylus (preferably tablet, but possible to complete with smartphone)

Intermediate use of English

Fluent in Chinese

The ability to write using a stylus!

Ability to closely follow instructions

This project will be split into two phases.

Phase 1 -

Easy 15-20 minute sample handwriting task

incentive as shown on Appen Connect/Appen Mobile

All submissions screened.

Phase 2 -

Successful users from Phase 1 offered opportunity to participate in Phase 2.

60-90 minute task, collecting varied handwriting samples

5x incentive shown
