Job Purpose and Impact

The Finance Controlling Manager will lead a team of our accounting and finance supervisors, accountants and other indirect staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of day-to-day accounting activities. We seek a professional with interpersonal skills who will contribute to establishing and maintaining accounting policies and fiscal controls, as well as prepare financial reports and safeguard the organization’s assets.

Key Accountabilities

• Execute moderately complex accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead all aspects of the day-to-day accounting operations required to support the business.
• Coordinate accounting processes that are executed by other accountants.
• Be responsible for completing the statutory/external audits and will be primarily contact point for external auditors in guidance of FC
• Be responsible for ensuring the compliances with all financial regulatory compliances both locally and required for US GAAP
• Apply substantial understanding of accounting practices and procedures to guide direct reports on creating technical accounting report packages.
• Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 10 years of accounting or finance experience
• Demonstrated commitment to Internal Controls
• Ability to communicate, influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups
• English proficiency
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation
• 4 years of supervisory experience
• Understanding and experience working with JDE, SAP
• Experience with multiple businesses and/or international business experience
