Job Description

Position Purpose:

• Plan and support every department in implementing environment, health and safety affairs and periodically trace their performance to achieve company’s environment, health and safety objective.
• Plan and execute mill policy to comply with local regulation and KC standards on environment, health and safety agendas.
  

Customers And Customer Requirement

Internal customer

• All Chung-Li Mill employees are major customers of this position.
  

External customer

• Contractor, North Labor Inspection Unit, Taoyuan Environmental Protection Bureau, HsinWu Police Station, HsinWu Community, and External training unit are major external customers of this position.
  

Scope

This incumbent reports to Chung-Li Mill EHS Manager, the major job scope includes:

• Plan and support the implementation of environment, health and safety affairs for every department.
• Plan and improve working environment, health and safety protection equipment and facilities at Chung-Li Mill.
• Drive EHS programs to meet KC and local requirement, and seize opportunity for process improvement.
• Inspect the site at least one time daily and perform regular and irregular comprehensive check monthly, reveal potential hazard factor and eliminate the incident in advance.
• Incident investigation analysis and follow-up the improvement prevent the reoccurrence of similar incident.
  

The position should possess the following peculiarity: verbal and written communication ability in English, ability to solve the problem thoroughly, working passion and active and progressive and honor characteristic, strong safety awareness.

• Familiar with ISO procedures.
• Thoroughly understand the expectation of local safety and health requirements.
• Understand the production process.
• Observe unsafe behavior and study engineering control to improve preventing occupational injury.
• Familiar root cause analysis for EHS event.
• Familiar working safety approaches and change team culture to achieve zero incident.
  

Must

Qualification/Education/Experience required:

• Colleague graduate or above in labor safety and health or equivalent education.
• Class A license of labor safety or health management specialist.
  

Wants: 1-3 years practical experience.

Principal Accountability

• Plan and execute labor safety to eliminate the occurrence of occupational injury.
• Perform incident investigation analysis statistic and improvement suggestion as well as follow up the improvement result.
• Advise and consult the safety and health work to assist the achievement of the goal of “work safely with zero hazards”.
• Sufficiently communicate with the personnel of related division to facilitate the achievement of work fluently.
• Push the safety policy to prevent the occurrence of vocational hazard and control property damage.
• Submit related report and statement to administration institute, labor inspection unit and environmental protection bureau according to regulations to let them understand the environment, health and safety status of CL tissue mill.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure work facilities and human behavior is in accordance with regulations.
• Support and improve team daily operations

This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. K-C will not provide relocation support for this role.
