EHS Manager in Taiwan (m/f/d)

Location: Taiwan, Tainan City, 741, Xinshi District

IMS Nanofabrication in Taiwan enables the largest semiconductor manufacturing companies by providing state-of-the-art equipment and assuring they remain in top shape through essential service and application support.

Responsibilities:

• Professional care for safety and health in all work circumstances is at the core of this function.
• Responsible for all essential duties as occupational health and safety manager.
• Responsible for a safe and cozy work environment in the office, training facilities and at the customer’s sites.
• Assess, develop and implement EHS standards for all local employees, business traveler and IMS contractors.
• Prepare EHS related training material and implement regular trainings for all employees.
• First point of contact for all EHS stakeholder such as department leaders or any governmental institution as well as being accountable for all EHS related matters.
• Prepare necessary EHS- and legal materials requested from governmental institutions or the customer.
• Ensure legal compliance of IMS Nanofabrication with regards to EHS matters.
• Lead investigations of accidents, review and report it regularly and implement an accident prevention plan.
• Create standard procedures for emergency situations.
• Ensure documentation of all EHS related matters.
• Implement pandemic prevention plans according to official rules and customer requests, considering the needs of different stakeholder and keeping them up to date at all times.
• Manage a small team of safety engineers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years work experience in a similar position.
• MS degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering or comparable.
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese (verbal and oral).
• Minimum occupational management specialist license.
• Motivated, pro-active, self-driven, reliable and flexible.
• Experience in leading a team is a must.
