What We Offer

Major Tasks:

• Implement timely equipment maintenance and urgent troubleshooting in Electrical & Instrument (E&I) equipment and PLC & DCS process control system for maintaining plant’s production operations.
• Develop E&I equipment maintenance strategies and implement preventive maintenance plan.
• Analyze equipment failure cause by Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or other superior performance analysis tools and improve equipment performance reliability.
• Review and create equipment specifications of E&I installation and replacement.
• Procure E&I engineering and maintenance materials & components; manage equipment assets and spare parts.
• Act as plant’s electrical safety expert, who is responsible for electrical equipment risk assessment and relevant improvement for electrical safety.
• Evaluate & select suitable suppliers and contractors for engineering procurement, materials and equipment purchase, maintenance service.
• Apply for safety work permits and manage contractors for safety.
  
  

Value added:

Technical discipline expertise and maintenance technology application in E&I engineering, which help the plant to effectively execute E&I equipment installation and maintenance, equipment failure cause analysis and diagnosis, regular equipment calibration and electrical equipment inspection for plant’s production operations, and value added to the plant’s equipment maintenance improvement, maintenance spare parts management, contractor resources evaluation and contractor management, maintenance safety activities. The function in the position is to demonstrate a variety of values in plant’s safety, production operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, relevant technical field of engineering and science.
• Knowledge in electrical & instrument engineering, control engineering, and relevant technical discipline expertise..
• At least 3 years work experience in relevant manufacturing, worked in relevant companies (plants) of petrochemical or chemical industry, utility and energy industry are preferred.
• Experience in electrical & instrument equipment installation and maintenance.
• Experience in power system engineering, control engineering, electrical equipment inspection, process instrument calibration.
• Experience in PLC & DCS process control.
• Computer literate and experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Auto CAD.
• Able to use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or other superior performance analysis tools for analyzing equipment malfunction cause.
• Must be a team player who is able to understand organizational objectives, take effective communication and action in responding requirements of customers/tasks.
• Good spoken and written skills in English and Mandarin.
