POSITION OVERVIEW: Director, Global Supply Planning

Our Global Sales and Operations Planning & Execution (GSOP&E) team is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Planning to lead the Supply Planning Process Adherence and Training activities for our Global Supply Chain Capabilities. This position will take responsibility for the Network Supply Planning and Master Scheduling activities across the groups they support, including developing and implementing the Network Supply Planning process as part of overall GS&OP, as well as plant execution activities supporting GS&OE. This role will also serve to coordinate new supply process and tool development as part of our global Kinaxis Rapid Response deployment. As a Center Led Process Owner, coaching, talent development/training and coordination across all global divisions to gain agreement all within the context of the MBM guiding principles is required.

As a Supply Planning process owner, you will have the responsibility to quickly evaluate situations within each Division/Plant and be able to independently provide appropriate guidance and feedback in accordance with process design and best practices. You will be responsible for providing regular process assessments, gap coaching, and ensure continual improvement to the global processes. Where processes, reporting/KPI’s, and alignment do not exist, you are expected to research and design/implement best practices in conjunction with divisional supply chain leadership support. This role reports directly to the VP Global SOP&E.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree, advance degree preferred

· Advanced certifications in lieu of advanced degree such as APICS, ASCM, IBF are acceptable

· A minimum of 5-10 years related experience in Supply Planning leadership, process design, Supply Chain, Planning Systems implementation.

· Experience managing across non-direct reports/indirect leadership

· Experience using the Kinaxis Rapid Response system is greatly preferred

· Experience in advanced planning tools and ERP system such as SAP ERP, IBP, Oracle or similar

· Ability to travel between 20-35%, sometimes globally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experience managing a geographically diverse or global workforce.

· Experience providing consultative support in a business partner model for diverse divisions/business units.

· Work closely with the Divisional Supply Chain Leaders to understand and proactively identify opportunities to add value to their business operations.

· Develop and implement continuous Supply Planning processes that support the overall mission and strategy of the Global GSOP&E function and Corporate goals.

· Actively support continuous rollout and improvement of our Global Kinaxis Rapid Response planning tool.

· Actively drive adoption of the new GS&OE (Sales and Operations Execution) processes at the plant level in conjunction with the Divisional Supply Planning Leads.

· Participate in the annual review of divisional Network Supply Planners and assist in the career path development for the overall role.

· Ensure complete linkage of the Network Supply Planning process into the overall GS&OP process to fully realize the goal of an End to End supply planning process

· Establish and maintain high levels of engagement across the employee population by identifying and resolving process issues and gaps having a negative impact on performance and employee morale.

· Critical thinking and analytical ability to drive decision making and support/lead strategic activity.

· Understand, support and contribute to Molex’ Guiding Principles and Management Philosophy (MBM) Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
