Responsibilities :

• Leads the Asia Demand Meetings and ensures an effective monthly Demand Review process in place. Drives functional process excellence across all Bemis markets.
• Work with the commercial team to maintain accurate product forecasts, capture new requirements, communicate demand spikes, large orders and work with supply planning team to allocate products when required.
• Reviews Asia demand by market / geographic region. Supports and works closely with key stakeholders (Sales/Marketing/Development/Brand/Demand planning & forecasting Specialist, Finance, Supply Planning, etc.) to ensure alignment with business strategies.
• Participates in business reviews to gather data related to future demand from commercial team
• Works with BUS at global level to aggregate customer and statistical forecasts.
• Represents the summary outputs of the Demand at the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Demand Management Review (SIOP/DMR).
• Directly supervises assigned staff on a day-to-day basis to drive forecast accuracy improvement. Communicates direction, priorities and issues/risks to key stakeholders.
• Establishes strategies, key performance metrics, target objectives/guidelines and improvement initiatives to meet demand management objectives.
• Works with Customers/Sales/Marketing/Product Development to develop and modify demand planning strategy to support successful new product launch planning and execution as well as products transition throughout life cycle phases.
• Collaborates with Supply Planning Manager on SiOPs process and executing continuous improvement in SiOPs
• Participate in the annual budgeting process.
• Support the Bemis Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Process (SIOP) through direct participation and functional leadership in New Activities (PMR), Demand (DMR), and Supply (SMR) Steps.
• Maintain documentation of demand planning processes, procedures and policies. Conduct regular reviews of these and assess opportunities for improvements. Establish measurements to monitor proper execution of these processes, procedures and policies.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in Bemis supply chain demand planning and management processes and systems.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry and intercompany best practices, supply chain trends, and technologies.
• Utilize ERP and Reporting systems to create alert management tools and address gaps for resolution.

Scope:

• Develop a highly capable team and processes in order to provide world-class end to end Demand forecast for Bemis Asia.
• Provide leadership for the demand/forecasting planning process.
• Provide direction for the creation of a monthly demand plan process then validate performance vs. plan.
• Develop capacity planning process to align and balance supply with demand to provide input for labor and equipment requirements for short and midterm planning.
• Map the supply model (make to order, finish to order, make to stock) based on business rules, forecast demand and historical sales performance.
• Maintain and elevate metrics for forecast accuracy, planning data integrity and accuracy, S&OP performance, service and inventory metrics.
