Responsibilities
  • Use of optical, digital electronic and electrical instruments for measurement of the product and process parameters.
  • Use of control system fundamental via industrial controllers for achieving the desired target of the product/process parameters/attributes.
  • Design control system hardware and software for manufacturing process. Develop or modify control systems including data acquisition, data display, control charts and control algorithms.
  • Equipment checkout, move-in, installation, debug, commissioning and integration of control systems into to manufacturing facilities.
  • Work with process engineers to conduct process improvement experiments and manufacturing studies. Statistics analysis of manufacturing and experimental data to find process upset root causes and appropriate solution. It involves the application of fundamental knowledge and methods for understanding physical phenomena to achieve specified characteristics and criteria for products and processes.
  • Work on teams with production and engineering to improve yield, throughput, cycle time and process uptime.
  • Participate in all stages of manufacturing processes that involve forming, firing and annealing on glass and ceramics, ware handling and finishing which includes cutting, grinding, polishing, washing, assembly and packaging of final products.
  • Transfer of technology to manufacturing operation with full implementation of training and documentation systems (SOP, SOS and Training).
  • Work with development team for new processes and product introductions.
Education & Experience:
  • MS Degree above+ in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Automation, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, Control Theory & Engineering, Electronics Engineering,
  • 5+ years hands on PLC controller (Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens) and HMI experience.
  • Familiar with control systems hardware, software, and system integration design.
  • Understanding of Electrical standard, safety and code compliance.
