You will report to the Asia Head of Communications based in Taiwan to ensure successful internal communications keep all ASML Taiwan employees well-informed to help achieve business objectives.
You will be involved in developing internal communication strategy and activity implementation for better employee engagement across our operating offices in Taiwan. You will work closely with other Internal Communications colleagues in Taiwan and the Asia and Global team, bringing local knowledge, contacts and expertise to global projects and implementing global communications initiatives in ASML Taiwan.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Reinforce strategic alignment and stakeholder trust by enabling leadership communication: Enable our leaders to communicate effectively and create engagement opportunities. Create transparency for employees and support translation of corporate priorities into country/site priorities. Anticipate potential issues and early involve leadership for issue management/communications.
- Strengthening employee belonging: Deliver consistent brand experience to employees. Reinforce our vision and culture stories to create a sense of belonging.
- Planning and execution: Initiate Internal Communications strategy, annual plan and implements activities to enhance employee and leadership engagement. Plan and organize town-hall meetings for CS, as well as company-wide all-employee meetings and leadership meetings. Focus on value-adding activities.
- Content creation: Use clear language and messages that resonate to help stakeholders communicate effectively. Produce and edit internal news, announcements and copies. Lead video projects by creating briefs, storyboarding and honing central messages, organizing shoots, and guiding editing for a successful outcome.
- Channel management: Maintain and optimize a portfolio of internal communication channels (ASML TV, Intranet, Corporate Email, SharePoint, etc.) aimed at providing timely and relevant internal news to our employees in Taiwan.
- Change management:Provide consultative communication support to help stakeholders drive internal engagement and changes with desired positive impact.
- Support local/global projects: Customize and implement local/global communications initiatives and events for all ASML CS sites in Taiwan. Work collaboratively with Internal Communications business partners in Taiwan and the headquarters.

- Strategy and business understanding: Be able to articulate understanding of business performance through strategic objectives and own role. Understands the markets in which we operate, business trends, sales etc.
- Consultation capabilities: be able to ask right questions to define stakeholder’s communication challenges and provide feedbacks/solutions.
- Exceptional writing & presentation skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills; clear, concise and professional. Adjusts communication content and style to the audience and a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Project management: proved ability to create communication plans that can adapt to changes in business priorities, timelines, scope or resources; build measurement into plans; monitor, track, and report progress.
- Channel management skill: Hands-on multi-channel experience (SharePoint, Teams, TV…), activated for optimum reach to targeted audiences.
- Alignment and agility: aligns communication plans with priorities of business. Translates measurement data in smartly contextualized conclusions and reports.
- Creative problem solver: Able to build strong relationships and networks and effectively engage and manage stakeholders including the ability to drive, convince and influence others.
- Results driven: demonstrates ownership and accountability and delivers on commitments with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal influence: builds trust and rapport with communications colleagues and stakeholders; pursues goals in constructive and assertive way; explores potential solutions during disagreements and searches for the win-win.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Journalism, Communications, Business or other relevant field.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in internal communications or employee engagement or equivalent experience in PR agency.
- Excellent knowledge of internal communication channels and appreciation of their effectiveness.
- Experience working in an integrated communications team is a plus.
