Department Overview

MSI Direct (Video Sales Overlay)

Job Description

  • Drive Video business sales in assigned territory and target verticals/accounts
  • Support North Asia Direct Sales team in establishing and achieving the annual sales objectives for the Video business in the assigned territory
  • Identify and qualify prospects for video and access control solution opportunities in strategic direct accounts to help build a sustainable sales funnel
  • Identify strategic areas for growth and develop plans to drive Video sales
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers, understand and respond to customer needs, track and report on account activity
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and present Motorola Solutions Video portfolio ((including Avigilon, Pelco, AVA, Openpath, Calipsa etc)
  • Provide product overview and technical guidance to System Integrator/partners, Consultants & End-Users to help them understand our Video & Access control solutions
  • Articulate the technology as well as competitive offering to demonstrate differentiated value propositions to both business and technical prospects
  • Adept at communicating with a largely technical audience and delivering product presentation/demonstrations to C-level
  • Support Sales Team in pitching our solution specifications for RFP’s and responding to RFP’s
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, end customers and system integrator partners
  • Collaborate with internal sales and presales team to ensure the right solution positioning, competitive analysis, proposals, RFP responses and POCs for our solutions
  • Support account team in forecasting and reporting activity accurately and in line with expectations
  • Moderate travel to support POCs, product demonstrations and solution discussions.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales / BD role in video security industry
  • Strong understanding of the Video surveillance market. Access control knowledge will be plus
  • Proven Experience in selling Fixed Video (CCTV) & Access Control solutions
  • Familiar with the channel/system integrator landscape in the identified countries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – English & Mandarin
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce/CRM tools
