The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Analyst to join our Global Sales/Business Development Team. The Analyst plays an integral role and will work closely across business units - Sales, Account Management, Network in supporting end-to-end sales and business development cycle from prospecting to account management. In addition, this role will facilitate new initiatives, supporting the development of strategic plans and project execution to drive growth across the regions.
What The Day Will Look Like
- Support Sales/Business Development team with the preparation and content creation for sales pitches as well as client meetings.
- Support client opportunity development, working with the team as well as the client’s account executives and other stakeholders as applicable to design and refine a value proposition.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities that the team is pursuing.
- Provide management support for prospects from initial contact to client acquired
- Work closely with business development managers to qualify leads and prospects to win deals.
- Work with designated account managers and proactively communicate with our online clients and network partners to deliver key priorities.
- Engage with clients proactively to understand their needs and identify solutions and cross sell opportunities.
- Ensure all clients and/or partners inquiries and issues are answered and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders including business development, product, compliance, legal, operations, finance, etc. to make clear, concise, and impactful recommendations on a wide range of business issues.
- Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Bachelor degree holder or above.
- 3+ years relevant working experience in the financial services industry; prior experience in Bank’s Relationship Management team, Transaction Banking team, Fintech and payments a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and relationship development skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent business acumen, communication skills and willingness to be hands-on, ability to work in a dynamic, fast evolving start-up environment, and under tight deadlines with a positive attitude.
- Team player mind-set and proactive attitude.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
