Job Description

The Business Analyst serves as the liaison among product management and development to translate business needs into product requirements. The Business Analyst elicits, understands, analyzes and translates requirements into technical documentation. The Business Analyst communicates the requirements to the project delivery team and facilitates activities through the development lifecycle.

Business Analysis

• Work closely with the development team to analyze, design, and implement APIs to improve the functionality and efficiency of our e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact analysis, and risk assessments to support project planning and decision-making.
• Design and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the APIs and e-commerce platform.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful web services.
• Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman.
• Solid knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• Understanding of and practical experience with Agile Methodology.
