Our client is a clinical stage, end-to-end artificial intelligence (AI)-driven drug discovery company. The Bioinformatics Group is focused on applying bioinformatics techniques to target discovery and drug design. We are looking for a highly motivated bioinformatician with a passion and proven track record of analyzing and integrating omics data. The candidate for this position must have strong experience in genomic data science. A candidate with working experience at pharma/biotech is a strong plus.

• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, related field of research, or MSc with 2+ years of experience in the industry.
• Having engineering skills and the ability to do science independently and collaboratively
• Essential knowledge of the drug discovery process
• With hands-on experiences of omics data analyses including WGS, WES, microarray, and RNA-Seq (bulk and single-cell). Experience with proteomics data preprocessing, analysis, and multi-omics integration is absolutely a plus
• Familiar with databases and platforms such as GEO, ArrayExpress, Open Targets, TCGA, CCLE, LINCS, GWAS catalog
• Having strong programming ability in R, shell scripting, or Python
• Familiarity with the following technologies and environments: Linux, Git, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3), Nextflow, or Airflow
• An excellent communicator with a passion for data visualization (ggplot or seaborn) and reproducible techniques for documentation (e.g., RMarkdown)
• Experience in biomarker discovery is a plus
