Location: Linkou, Taiwan/Pune, India. Training in Taiwan for 6-12 months.

Department: Software Competency Center, Emerging Business Development (EBD)

Objective:

Join our specialized Tiger Team aimed at propelling Advantech’s expansion efforts. This role will delve deep into the exploration of potential and the vast possibilities of edge computing, making use of the profound experience of Taiwan and the expansive talent pool of India. The mission is to shape a dynamic operating model that leverages the best of both worlds for groundbreaking innovation in edge computing.

Team Composition:

The team comprises a mix of 3 Indian and 3 Taiwanese members, bringing diverse perspectives and skills for innovative problem-solving and forward-thinking in edge computing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in constructing a AIOps environment to promote efficient development and operational processes.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions to address critical business challenges across various departments.
• Build and maintain robust AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training pipelines, and serving environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Choose and implement appropriate AI algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for specific tasks.
• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models to ensure high performance and accuracy.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance, continuously iterating and improving as needed.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably with Python and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile development environments a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for learning and a drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of [specific languages e.g., Mandarin, Hindi] is advantageous.
• Experience building and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• Knowledge of specific AI applications for enterprise use (e.g., NLP, computer vision).
• Security and privacy awareness when working with data.
