DescriptionThe Role:The Regional Senior GL Accountant is responsible for recording general ledger, statutory and auditing tasks for APAC countries.Your ContributionBe Yourself. Be Open. • Support for all internal, external audits (e.g., SOXs, Statutory audit, Tax audit)
• Provide financial support in the area of accounting, reporting and analysis.
• Prepare journal entries by compiling account information for APJ countries and China.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Support ad hoc projects assigned by line manager or site management.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
• Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Lead and implement ad hoc projects in need for simplification, standardization or automation.

Key QualificationsFor consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Working experiences over 3-4 years in audit firm, Multinational corporations experience is preferred.
• In depth knowledge on Local GAAP and familiar with US GAAP.
• Experience in statutory audit process.
• Ability to work independently and create quality results.
• Good command of English.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to participate in cross-functional, teamwork-oriented environment.

In Addition, Preferable Skills And Behaviors Include

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP system is a plus

Education

• College graduated or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
