About Our Client

Founded in 2017, our client is a global manufacturing technology leader headquartered in Berkeley, California. The Taiwan branch office is launched in 2021, funded in part by Taiwan Capital, Taiwan’s national investment arm.

Job Description
  • Maintain fixed assets schedule including calculation of monthly depreciation and physical count
  • Maintain inventory schedules from raw material, WIP, to FG, and perform physical inventory count
  • Responsible for inter-company reconciliation status.
  • Contribute, assist, and document new internal control policies and procedures to enhance the work flow of the department and the company, including COGS, logistic, and warehouse management.
  • Process vendor invoices by performing 2-way and 3-way matching, including goods receipts and logistic paper administration
  • Prepare, analyze and review in-progress projects.
  • Create, prepare, and generate standard and ad-hoc internal and external financial reports and provide analyses.
    • E. costing information, labor, inventories, work-in-process, tax.
  • Prepare GUI Sales invoices, VAT filings, annual withholding forms and tax reporting.
  • Perform journal entry posting, account reconciliations, and assist month global end closing process.
  • Support annual audits and annual corporate income tax filing.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity of financial and company data.
  • Participate in other special projects and analyses, such as operational KPIs, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and change
The Successful Applicant

  • English proficiency; written and verbal.
  • Strong partnering abilities - able to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple physical locations.
  • Proven advanced knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
  • Prior experience leading/owning asset and inventory activities and processes.
  • Demonstrated consistency in meeting or exceeding goals, objectives, and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage highly confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
  • Proficient in Office 365, specific expertise with Excel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
