About The Job

DLP® is a great place to work. TI’s exciting DLP® products use a unique MEMS-based display technology that supports applications in Front Projection, Pico, Automotive and Digital Cinema products. The Automotive and Cinema Display Product Line has been a key contributor to the overall DLP success since its inception. We are looking for a Product Development Engineer (PDE) to join our team and directly impact the growth and diversification strategy for our group, who would responsible and fully involved in TI’s DLP® projection productization efforts. This role will directly work with Headquarter product and RD team on new device development, and also response for subcon product improvement. You will have opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment with exposure to a variety of state-of-the art applications each day.

PDE role with highly visible to the entire organization, very dynamic , ever-challenging and truly allowing you to be at the center of all stages of the New Product Development and Production Improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • DLP product yield improvement and defect/issue investigation
  • Work with multi-functional teams in bringing up DLP new production development, evaluation and qualification
  • Leading Subcon to address excursion, quality/reliability event, hold lot disposition and critical SWR
  • Perform production max-out and productivity improvement
  • Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures
  • Coordinate of new process evaluation or new pixel development into A/T production
  • Interface between subcon and wafer fab for driving wafer defect investigation and improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, MEMS Engineering or other Engineering related degree
  • Capable to work with cross functional team and has good communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • 1-2 years related working experience in Foundry or Assembly PIE/PDE/YE/PE is a big plus
  • Experience of PDE role, yield improvement and defect investigation skill is a plus
  • Familiar with data analysis software (JMP, Minitab, Spotfire,…) is a plus
