Position Summary

Air Liquide is the world leader in gases for industry, health and the environment. While having a strong historical core in oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen, Air Liquide has also developed product lines for the semiconductor industry such as ALOHATMand enScribeTM.

The position will work as a researcher in the Analysis & Fine Chemistry deposition group. The group is studying and developing new precursors and processes for CVD and ALD thin film deposition for semiconductor applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CVD/ALD process development and related characterizations (XPS, SEM, Ellipsometry, AFM, EDX, FT-IR, QMS, etc.).
• Literature survey on deposition process and development.
• High quality and timely reporting.
• Design, modify, maintain and perform safety inspection of deposition tools on a daily basis.
• Have direct contacts with local suppliers, customers and lead the project on a day to day basis.
• Join an internal safety organization and be in charge of a specific subject.

Working Experience & Technical Abilities

• PhD level or Master degree in related fields includuing Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, or Physical Engineering.
• Experienced in a private or academic R&D lab in deposition process development (CVD/ALD).
• Familair with handling analytical instruments and analytical methodologies (i.e. SEM, ellipsometry, AFM, XPS, FTIR, etc).
