Warehouse Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a cold chain life science warehousing and distribution center. These operations include pick pack, packaging, inventory, and delivery. Your goal will be to ensure operational efficiency, create a safe working environment, and adhere to the customer specific requirements.

OPERATIONS

• Supervise and oversee all warehouse accounts, assess service delivery, set service standards, maintain KPI’s and develop SOP’s
• Attend customer operational meetings to monitor the quality of service they are receiving as per agreed services
• Establish positive, professional relationship with MNX global and local clients
• Meet with new and existing clients to determine their needs for warehouse space. Maintain customer specific monthly KPI and metrics reporting.
• Manage work flow and operation procedures and improve processes.
• Maintain effective communications with other MNX departments and internal stakeholders
• Be the subject matter expert regarding operating procedures for all warehouse accounts
• Keep the pulse of customer satisfaction
• Track and manage inventory
• Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe
• Manage warehouse staff
• Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes
• Responding to and dealing with customer communications by email, fax and telephone
• Keeping stock control systems up to date
• Planning future capacity requirements
• Handling questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and addressing any problems with inventory control
• Enforce optimal operational procedures and implement process improvements

Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, ensuring that all appropriate safety regulations are being followed both with regards to personal safety and safety of inventory
• Manage warehouse in compliance with MNX’s quality policies
• Adhere to 5S Principles
• Maintain cold room, temperature monitoring, and warehouse equipment in support of operations

Qualifications

• Experience working in a GDP GMP enviroment
• SAP, EDI and other WMS/IMS experience a plus
• 3+ years of warehouse and distribution experience
• 3PL Forwarding experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word)
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
