Test Automation Specialist

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (Lab QA Engineer - Android products)for Android devices testing. Co-work with Test Engineers for client’s Android device project.

Onsite Google Taipei 101 Office

Primary Responsibilities:

• Automation test execution and scripting in Python (for Android products)
• Lab hardware logistics, operations.
• Lab equipment inventory management, purchasing, logistics
• Design, develop (or help engineer to design), test equipment in the lab

Mandatory Skill:

• Hands on Automation test execution and scripting in Python
• Familiar w/ Android products or w/ Android testing exp.
• Exp. using one of the following: XML, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker.
• Exp. working w/ various operating systems (Linux or Android), like Linux OS installation and command lines execution on the Linux
• Exp. w/ High repeatability work
• Documentation management
• Strong analytical skills and structured way of working
• Proactive in identifying and resolving problems.

Good To Have:

• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin and English fluently and idiomatically.
• Adjust, test and rework equipment (like soldering, etc)
• Use of tools such as Google Spreadsheets, pivot tables, databases.
• Ability to achieve objectives with little direct support and to report the advancement
• To be rigorous, autonomous and to manage the priorities
• To be able to work in a small team w/ technicians/engineers
• Having exp. w/ Routing, switching, Firewall
• Basic knowledge on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or GNSS.
• Working permit and Mandarin ability are required with foreigner
