The purpose of this role is accountable for deploying and executing the talent, development, and organization development strategy in their area of responsibility. Where relevant, the role is accountable for contributing to setting the strategic direction for their part of business, for talent, broadly or within a talent specialism, aligned to business strategy. Talent Manager roles may be generalist in nature, encompassing talent in its broadest sense, or they may be specialist in nature focusing on specialist talent disciplines such as Talent Management, Learning & Development; Diversity and Inclusion; Employee Engagement; Instructional Design, Learning Technology or Talent Planning as examples.Job Title:Talent and Learning Lead, North AsiaJob Description:
  • Contributes to global or develops local(Taiwan, South Korea) Talent strategy in line with global/local(Taiwan, South Korea) business strategy and HR strategy
  • Leads the embedding of a positive employee experience across all/relevant areas of the employee life cycle
  • Ensures our talent strategy and principles are brought to life through practical, business-relevant interventions
  • Guides or supports the development and implementation of Talent policies, guidelines, programs, and standards in line with overall business and HR strategy, both from a content and engagement perspective
  • Ensures the processes and tools in all topics of Talent and Organisation Development are effective and aligned with each other
  • Measures progress and impact and plans corrective actions in a proactive manner
  • Defines the local entity talent and organization development priorities in line with the local business/entity requirements and builds an aligned plan to deliver against these. Might act as a sparring partner to an entity when part of a regional or global team
  • Where relevant, selects and partners with external suppliers (training, coaching, consultants, etc.) in line with procurement and within global CoE frameworks/agreements
  • Advocates for and delivers strong employee career and capability development aligned to our career framework
  • As a Talent Champion cooperates with the global community of talent and HR professionals to share and seek out synergies and share learning and avoid duplication
  • Accountable for strong data quality and accuracy and process and system discipline where relevant, E.g. Workday talent data, updating Neon, performance dashboards, etc
  • Where relevant, leads and develops the assigned Talent and Organisation Development team, optimizes the team structure and work processes, builds, coaches, and creates a high-performing team
  • Pro-actively partners, and gathers feedback and input from business and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that initiatives and solutions will have the intended impact
