System Validation Engineer

(GPU Hardware Validation Engineer - Power & Performance Testing)

Onsite Intel office

Responsibilities:

• Validate GPU designs at system & component level (50%)

Generate solid test plan & automated flows, run the test, update status, generate reports in a timely manner.

• Debug issues (40%)

Repro & triage issues, file issues w/ accurate debug info. & log files to respective team and cooperate w/ them to debug and drive issue closure.

• Setup lab units & equipment and manage lab assets (10%)

Ensure all units & equipment are well set up or managed and w/ up-to-date status in the lab asset tracker.

• Work w/ suppliers & internal teams on resolving issues
• Interact w/ multiple teams inside & outside of client
• To work w/ Intel Graphics project teams in Canada, Taiwan and HCLTech’s teams in Canada, India.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in CS, EE or Engineering related
• 3+ years of exp. on GPU Hardware Validation
• Strong debugging & validation skills and exp.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Windows OS.
• Hands on develop automation test w/ Linux, Python, JavaScript, Database, Power BI, or C++.
• Strong knowledge on computer architecture, graphics hardware, firmware & software, and memory sub-systems.
• Excellent communication skills (speaking & writing) in both Mandarin & English.
• Problem solving skills & ability to collaborate w/ different teams proactively and effectively.
• Must demonstrate initiative & ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Positive & responsible, good communication & interaction, teamwork thinking is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Good listener, positive attitude, sense of humor, open minded, respect, patience, resolving issues, etc.
• Exp. applying analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Can work independently (e.g. create test plan, schedule test, manage tasks to complete on time, etc.)
• Can work under pressure
• Can adapt to fast pace environment
• Working permit and Mandarin ability are required with foreigner
