System Level Test Engineer, Tools and Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in automated test tools development for System Level Test, Automatic Test Equipment, Bench Characterization.
• Experience debugging and developing bare metal bench tests and light kernel test cases.
• Experience in C, C++ or C#, and scripting languages such as Python.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience implementing secure manufacturing solutions including provisioning, efuse and One-Time-Programmable (OTP) memory, lifecycle management, and SoC security.
• Experience with automation of scalable SLT/Bench/ATE solutions using custom software/hardware tools.
• Experience in C#, NET Framework, C/C++, Perl, or Python.
• Knowledge of Android Architecture, Android boot process, Kernel, Core Board Support Package (BSP), or Android performance.
• Knowledge of semiconductor test methodology and binning.

As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world’s largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our cutting-edge data centers affecting millions of Google users.

In this role, you will help to integrate System on Chip (SoC) technologies into mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. You will develop software tools and infrastructure required for SLT/Bench validation and high volume manufacturing. You will collaborate with Product, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to deploy end-to-end manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test infrastructure for validation and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Design and develop test sequencer, data parsers, and data analytic tools.
• Develop hardware Application Programming Interface (API) drivers for bench/test equipment.
• Design and develop custom software validation flows for Bench and SLT, with the goal to create low-cost multisite test solutions and optimize cost of test and yield.
• Develop data processing and analysis tools for HVM.
