As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will be a dynamic professional and lead all aspects of supply chain readiness in New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware products. As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you’ll work with cross-functional teams starting with product inception to volume ramp to bring innovative products into the market efficiently. You will work closely with procurement, engineering, operations, and suppliers to develop plans that directly support consumer hardware.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with commodity managers, engineering, and management to develop program strategies and mitigate risks. Establish supply chain delivery requirements and performance metrics, manage program delivery, and make appropriate trade-offs to manage cost and risk.
  • Manage Materials program managers responsible for NPI clear to build processes and ensure execution of materials related ramp readiness activities at OEMs.
  • Develop metrics and process for measuring performance of materials related activities in supply chain and at OEM.
  • Lead supply chain readiness reviews with cross-functional teams and ensure closure of risks prior to ramps.
  • Create and present executive summaries and reports.
