【Job Overview】

Procurement is the part of supply chain and plays a key role of all the activities in associated with company spends.

Procurement in SHL is included the direct (raw material) and indirect categories, should be responsible for supplier management, sourcing strategy, price negotiation, contract management as well as the purchase management

【Main Responsibilities】

1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies:

- Formulate and implement tactical plans based on market status and sourcing strategies.

- Lead the sourcing team in implementing strategies, reviewing performance, and providing guidance.

- Stay updated on market movements, including prices, supply, and industry trends, to adjust project plans accordingly.

2. Problem-solving and overcoming challenges:

- Support the sourcing team in negotiations with suppliers for prices, contracts, and KPI-related activities.

- Monitor project status, analyze key factors, and provide ideas or solutions to the team.

- Assist the team in identifying and managing resources to achieve project objectives and timelines.

3. Manage supplier relationships for business growth:

- Guide the sourcing team in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

- Conduct Sales & Operations (S&OP) meetings with key suppliers to update them on mutual cooperation and seek support.

- Optimize supplier resources and identify new opportunities to support business growth.

4. Cross-functional communication and collaboration:

- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.

- Participate in key discussions at all levels of stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

- Resolve conflicts with stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.

- Engage in communication with cross-functional departments to find common ground for collaboration.

5. People management:

- Coach team members to enhance their sourcing capabilities and achieve individual growth.

- Drive team spirit by encrouraging knowledge sharing and devising plans to promote effective teamwork.
