Responsibilities

Micron currently has an opening for package integration engineer in the Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) organization located in Taichung. As a silicon integration engineer you will be part of the PI group responsible for driving the development of 3DIC technology that will be implemented in advanced stacked DRAM memory products and subsequent improvement in yield and product quality to in order to prepare for its transfer to manufacturing. In this role, you will act as the bridge between front-end and backend technology development, and you will have responsibilities including, but not limited, to the following:

Coordinate post tape-out preparation for test environment

• Ensure resources are available and procure as needed (probe / top cards, lab equipment, etc.)
• Work with test and probe for test program setup and understanding of test definition, flow, and coverage
  
  

Pro-actively ensure silicon meets expectation during development

• Extract and analyze all relevant data from various databases including frontend probe and backend test data by using various statistical and data analysis tools / methods including artificial intelligence or machine learning, coupled with technical knowledge, to identify various signatures
• Provide feedback through reporting data analysis with interpretation by communicating and working with cross-functional teams such as integration, MRDA, and process modules to facilitate identification of failure root cause in conjunction with inline defectivity data for implementation of fixes
• Monitor yields and verify yields meet projections, provide feedback for yield enhancement
• Analyze experiments on new devices, new processes, new tool releases, and technology enablement to characterize processes and process interactions
• Perform EFA and PFA using lab equipment to validate data analysis and failure mode
  
  

Technology development support

• Maintain or create detailed documentation of information including procedures, lessons learned, etc. in order to facilitate transfer to manufacturing
• Mentor team members by actively engage in the development and training of fellow team members in area of expertise and knowledge
