Sr. Director, Global Manufacturing

We are looking for a Sr. Director, Global Manufacturing for a Consumer Electronics ODM company based in Taipei, Taiwan. This role will report to the COO, managing the company manufacturing operations across Mainland China, Southeast Asia, and other future locations. Ability to take frequent travels or international assignment is required.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to support success of business objectives.
• Responsible for all aspects of operational performance while building up the capabilities of the manufacturing organization.
• Develop and execute annual budgets, capital plans and cost out plans.
• Lead and manage daily operations among all the manufacturing sites in different continentals.
• Work closely with COO and other senior Business Unit GMs and various functional heads to drive the operations excellence and continuous improvement.
  

Desired Profile

• BS/MS degree in Engineering, Operations Management required, or Industrial Engineering degree.
• 15+ years’ experience in related manufacturing environments: multiple manufacturing sites (3 or more) with an employee base of 5,000+.
• Strong leadership track record in a matrix organization with significant international presence.
• Good at organization management and logistic thinking.
• Results driven. Having strong desire and energy to contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
• Ability to enhance manufacturing performance and deliver business KPIs.
• Fluent in English communication.
• Flexibility for frequent business travels and/or international assignment.
