Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience in engineering, building user facing products
• Experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Java, Kotlin, or C++
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in Android development
• 2 years of experience with engineering in building and/or maintaining enterprise scale services
• 1 year of experience working on wearable or other type of peripheral devices

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with uniquely innovative and passionate teams to improve and build the Pixel essential experience, such as Clock, Calculator, Recorder, and more to impact user’s daily lives. You will work with next-generation technology such as ML, building servers, and creating Android apps. Besides working on traditional full-stack server-app architecture, you will work from app layer to system platform software. The flexibility allows you to harness the device’s raw power and create helpful user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build mission critical user facing product components to ensure high quality and timely launch, making direct impact to Pixel’s Objectives and Key Results
• Work with a team and cross-functional partners to explore technology/architecture choices
• Work with cross-functional partners to explore innovative user experience
• Partner with domain experts to shape future product definition with privacy and security in mind in the era of Generative AI
