Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in relevant industry in one or more of the following, camera auto white balance, color algorithm development, or machine learning on mobile devices.
  • Experience with coding in C++ or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a relevant industry or research related to image processing or image quality.
  • Experience in camera auto white balance or color algorithm development.
  • Understanding of camera sensors.
  • Understanding of machine learning, image/video processing algorithms for consumer photography, or mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel algorithms to improve auto white balance and color.
  • Design AI/Machine learning algorithms such as scene detection to improve camera image quality.
  • Develop machine learning based auto-tuning system for auto white balance/color.
  • Participate in Google Pixel camera auto white balance/color tuning and image quality evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross teams including software and hardware.
