As a Software Engineer, Tools and Infrastructure, you will be at the heart of Google’s engineering process building software that empowers engineering teams to develop and deliver high quality products quickly. The Google Nest team focuses on hardware, software, and services for the home, ranging from Nest thermostats to Nest smart displays. The Google Nest team develops, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Responsibilities

• Design and implement a universal virtual device service with availability and stability.
• Build virtual device emulator technology to speed development workflows without expensive device setup.
• Provide virtual systems for Google Nest devices and ensure that ecosystems of device software and partner apps work together.
• Provide tools that measure and give insight on performance in devices and systems.
• Work with multiple teams across Google Nest, Google Assistant, and Android organizations to solve technical problems.
