Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with Linux and Android device driver development.
• Experience with software development in C/C++.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded systems, VLSI or Computer science.
• Experience developing device drivers and frameworks for custom hardware.
• Experience with software development in Android SDK/NDK.
• Experience with software development in Android Kernel (Linux/Android).
• Knowledge of Android architecture and boot process.
• Proficient in C/C++, Java, data structures, Shell scripting, Assembly language, Perl, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop device drivers, libraries, and tools for silicon validation of Google custom silicon primarily on Android.
• Gather platform requirements from hardware, architecture, and software teams.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Hardware and Software) throughout the development process.
• Debug CI/CD issues and maintain product branches.
• Debug of hardware and software issues on hardware platforms.
