The Project Execution team are at the heart of our organisation, meeting and exceeding customer expectations while helping to build a sustainable and profitable future. You will lead the execution of medium-size to large and moderately complex projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi ABB Power Grids policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Define, jointly with Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
• Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi ABB Power Grids policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project. Ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
• Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with Hitachi ABB Power Grids policies and contractual agreements. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
• Complete risk and opportunity assessments and ensure implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility. Ensure any contract/quality/program/cost issues is under control management and solution.
• Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
• Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Coach and provide feedback for project staff.

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree or above, in power engineering field is a plus.
• At least 8 years of Electrical Power Engineering industry experience.
• Experience lead 10 ~30M USD Substation Project of project management.
• Expert in service field in wind farm of on shore or offshore is plus.
• Clear Thinking and acting systematically for customer handling.
• Aggressive to learn and strong leadership engagement concept.
• Domestic travel frequency.
• Fluent English in project management of listening, speaking, reading & writing.
