We are the Windows Ecosystem and Enablement team (WE2) and we support high quality hardware and software innovation across partner portfolios and market segments. Our work drives outcomes across the device lifecycle including joint planning, strategic engagement, and technical enablement for OEM, Silicon, and other ecosystem partners.

As a Senior PM you will have the opportunity to work on amazing new technology, devices, and experiences, from the earliest phases of planning to product design to manufacturing. Responsibilities

In this role, you will partner with engineering, marketing, and sales teams at Microsoft and with our ecosystem partners. Your typical day will include regular interaction, collaboration, and communication with many talented coworkers and peers. You will need to continually prioritize a growth mindset and demonstrate diverse and inclusive behaviors through your actions. You should be reflective and self-aware, acknowledge your bias, and lead by example in how you work.

Examples of contributions and work that our team does include:
  • Supporting our partners on the implementation of new types of devices
  • Creating scale enablement plans for new technology and innovation for the Windows platform
  • Working across our engineering, marketing, and sales teams to develop growth strategies and support customer solution areas
  • Synthesizing and prioritizing partner feedback and product engineering requests
  • Documenting and sharing of strategies, implementation guides, and processes
  • Formulating strategy by using data insights on product usage, satisfaction, and customer research
Scope Of Work
  • Act as a principal program manager lead for implementing new Windows products, experiences, and technologies
  • Represent our device partners’ needs and requests into feature teams
  • Use excellent organization skills
  • Design and document plans and solutions
  • Use concise and effective communication
  • Use data to support the decision-making process and help to improve products, features, and experiences for our partners and customers
  • Be comfortable with change and the innovation opportunities change brings
International and domestic travel may be required

Qualifications

Some Examples Of Experiences That We Would Value
  • Familiarity and experience with the Windows 10 family of products and offerings
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience working as a program manager, product manager or business planner in the tech industry or related field
  • Organizational agility ability to synthesize and communicate information to company leaders in senior roles (i.e., General Managers, Partners and VPs).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Four or more years of experience working in the tech industry, including:
    • Experience working with ecosystem partners at multiple levels in an organization (working teams to leadership teams)
    • Knowledge of OS platform technology, features, and experiences
    • Knowledge of the configuration and design of PC, Phone, or Tablet hardware, including silicon platform choices, hardware components, and software configuration
  • Use of Office applications, including great presentation skills using PowerPoint and excellent writing skills using Word and Outlook
  • A dynamic presenter both in-person and using collaboration technology like Microsoft Teams
A bachelor’s or master’s degree or non-traditional education combined with years of experience is also great
