THE OPPORTUNITY

This position will be responsible for processing payroll and payroll reporting, as well as for accounting and reporting to payroll, compensation, pension, payroll tax, and benefit related matters for European based employees. Assist in fleet management, and the European Credit Card Program. Assist external auditors for SOX and Statutory audits. Prepare headcount and other analysis reports.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responsible for preparing European monthly payroll processing
• Responsible for post payroll accounting and compensation related reporting as needed
• Assist U.S. payroll function in administration of international stock-based compensation
• Maintenance of accurate payroll detail files
• Preparation and submission of payroll-related information needed for external constituents including governmental, external auditors, and the like
• Manage payroll-related or payroll-tax related audits
• Work closely with human resource department personnel and perform certain reporting (i.e., headcount) and other functions as needed to support their compensation, benefits, and payroll-related needs
• Prepare monthly associated payroll entry and accrual journal entries
• Prepare monthly bonus accrual and associated journal entry
• Prepare monthly commission accrual journal entry
• Assist with fleet management administration
• Manage day to day administration of European company credit program
• Manage employee benefits programs (i.e., pension, etc.)
  

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• PDL and VPS Degree
• Experience processing payroll for medium-sized, multi-country organization
• Experience with cross-border workers
• Experience with standard payroll systems and related products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience maintaining confidential information
• Knowledge and experience of multi-country payroll taxes particularly focused on Europe
• Effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
• Ability to travel 5%
• Experience with Ceridian and related Ceridian products is a plus.
