Job Description

The Financial Analyst would work closely with the CFO to deliver the consolidation and reporting of the Taiwan

Business Unit, which involves the following duties:

• to retro-plan each closing and forecasting exercise; and to communicate clear reporting instructions to
  
  

the financial controllers

• to consolidate data from all subsidiaries
• to report those data within pre-formatted and detailed slides; and to provide analysis on variations,
  
  

business trends, expected outlook, risks and opportunities, etc

The above applies to all reporting deadlines: monthly/quarterly closings; forecasting exercises; business reviews.

The role involves regular exchanges with the financial controllers of Veolia Taiwan’s subsidiaries.

The Financial Analyst is also expected (i) to prepare ad-hoc reports upon request from the senior management,

and (ii) to continuously improve the consolidation/reporting processes and tools. He/she has the opportunity to

liaise with peers from other business units across the Asia zone.

The Successful Applicant

• Around 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, ideally within a Big 4 audit firm and/or as FP&A
  
  

analyst within a corporate

• Solid command of financial statements and financial analysis concepts
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is highly desirable (to master Google sheet would be a strong plus)
• Understanding and/or experience in Information Systems (ERP, BI tools, robots, etc) would be welcome
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to summarize ideas and present them in a clear and concise way
• Very detail oriented
• Outgoing personality with good communication skills
