Senior Cost & Revenue Accountant

MaxLinear is seeking a driven Sr Cost& Revenue Accountant to join our growing global team. In this role, you will focus on the following

• Analyze purchase price variances, production yield loss and work orders in the system
• Reconcile inventory, revenue, and cost of goods sold
• Calculate warranty reserve and overhead allocation
• Prepare month-end journal entries and account analysis
• Update quarterly standard costs, activate new parts
• Provide variance explanations for actual and forecast
• Calculate monthly accrual and process payments for rebates, royalties and commissions
• Provide support of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
• Support quarterly and year end audit, working with internal and external auditors
• Support supply chain and production planning activities
• Track and support distributor inventory
• Provide revenue billing tracking activities
• Experience with revenue, cost and general accounting
• Good understanding of GAAP
• Extensive experience with Excel, advance skills
• Knowledge of accounting systems; MS Dynamic AX preferred
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Effective time management
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent + 5 years of experience
